Composition:
Each tablet contains: 277 mg Pyrantel pamoate, 272 Ivermectin is a combination of two medicines: anti-parasitic and an anthelmintic which used monthly in dogs.
Specifications:
Pyrantel pamoate kills roundworms and hookworms living in your dog’s intestines. Using it every month may help to eliminate the infestation of roundworm eggs and hookworm larva on your dog, and thereby reduce the risk of re-infection.
Indications:
Prevention, treatment, and control of Hookworms, Heartworm, Intestinal Parasite, Roundworms, Hookworms, Roundworm Eggs and Hookworm Larvae.
Side effects:
• Do not use in puppies less than 6 weeks of age.
• Safe for use in Collies, Australian shepherds, Old English sheepdogs, Shelties and any of these crossbreed dogs if given the regular monthly heartworm preventative dosing level.
• Safe for use in breeding, pregnant and nursing animals.
• Pets known to have had an allergic reaction to pyrantel pamoate or like products.
• This product may be given with or without food.
Dosage and how to use Use:
only for Dogs which weight 51–100 lb (23 – 45 kg). Give 1 tablet every month, all year long, as recommended by (American Heartworm Society). What happens if I miss a dose: Give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Do not give a double dose of the medication. What happens if I overdose the pet: Seek emergency veterinary medical treatment. Symptoms of overdose may include vomiting, diarrhea and imbalanced movement in dogs. What should I avoid while giving Pet Guard to my pet: Because humans can contract hookworm from animals, it is important to maintain good personal hygiene. It is also important to eliminate fleas on the pet and in the household and do not feed the pet rodents or uncooked meat or fish. To prevent re-infection, daily cleanup of stools is recommended.
