TREKO is used to prevent and treat of Trichomoniasis which is known as "Trich" , Hexamitosis, and Giardia in both domestic and wild bird species which can be affected in large numbers. TREKO is highly effective and very safe. Trichomoniasis (or canker, by its common name used by most breeders) is a protozoan organism that is commonly found in the mouth, throat, gastro-intestinal tract and upper respiratory tract of pigeons, doves, turkeys, chickens, canaries, raptors (bird eats meat) and a variety of psittacine (parrot) bird species including budgerigars, cockatiels and Amazon parrots. The Trichomonas organism is capable of causing severe respiratory and gastrointestinal disease (Loss of appetite and digesting Problem) in avian hosts. It is said that most of the pigeons are infested with canker during their lives, but it rarely shows symptoms of the disease in mature birds.
Indications:
Treatment of Trichomoniasis, Hexamitiasis, Coccidiosis and Giardia.
Side Effects:
Do not administer to poultry whose eggs are intended for human consumption. Do not administer to turkeys before the age of 8 to 10 weeks.
Dosage And how to use:
For pigeon & big bird : Put direct 3drops in pigeon’s mouth daily for 3consecutive days(in mild case). 5drops in pigeon’s mouth daily for 3consecutive days(in severe case). Or 2.5ml per liter of drinking water for 3consecutive days (in mild case). 5ml per liter of drinking water for 3 consecutive days (in severe case). For Canaries or small birds: put 5 drops into 40 ml water tank daily for 2 to 3 days
